How do I schedule an appointment?

You can make an appointment by calling 614-364-5709 or by e-mailing Marnie Winters, owner of Finding My Path: College and Career Coaching will answer your phone call or respond to your e-mail about scheduling an appointment for the services you would like to receive. If you call and Marnie does not answer the phone, please leave a voicemail and Marnie will return your call as soon as possible.


Who will I be meeting with during my scheduled appointments?

You will be meeting with Marnie Winters, owner of Finding My Path: College and Career Coaching. She meets with every single personw. For more information on Marnie Winters, visit her biography page and/or her resume page.


Do I have to live in Columbus, Ohio or in the central Ohio area in order to receive services?

No. Marnie is prepared to have phone appointments or appointments on Skype, in order to meet with students in other cities and states. As long as you live in one of the 50 states, you can have an appointment and select any of the individual services or packages.


If I live in Columbus, Ohio or central Ohio, do I have to have a face to face appointment, or can I meet with Marnie through a phone appointment or Skype appointment?

If a phone appointment or a Skype appointment works best for you, then a phone appointment or Skype appointment can be scheduled for you.


I work odd hours or have a tight schedule. Does this mean I will have trouble scheduling an appointment?

No. Marnie Winters, owner of Finding My Path: College and Career Coaching, will work to meet with you, to give you the opportunity to schedule an appointment, even if it means she meets with you very early or late in the day, on weekends, or on most holidays.


I don't live in the same time zone as central Ohio. Will the time difference make it difficult for me to schedule an appointment?

No. Time zone differences will not serve as a barrier for you. Marnie is willing to wake up early or go to bed late in order to accommodate your schedule. She will also be available on weekends and most holidays.


How do I pay for services?

You can pay for services in cash, by check, certified check, money order. Credit card payments are not accepted at this time. They will be accepted in the future, but are unavailable at the moment.

Payment will be due by the beginning of each service. You can pay in person, over the phone, or by mail. For services requiring just one appointment, the payment will be due in full by the beginning of the appointment. For services requiring multiple appointments, payments can be divided into equal payments and paid at the beginning of each appointment.


How do I cancel an appointment?

Please give 24 hours notice in the event an appointment needs cancelled. You can call 614-364-5709 or e-mail [email protected] to cancel an appointment.


I am a high school student and my parents are helping me with college. Can they attend the appointments with me?

Absolutely. Your parents are your support system. They are welcome to attend the meetings with you and ask questions. Your parents, grandparents, or legal guardians are welcome to attend any appointment with you. Any student of any age is able to let family members, significant others, or close friends attend appointments with them.


If I schedule a face to face appointment, where do I go to meet with Marnie Winters for the appointments?

One of Marnie's goals is to make things as easy as possible for you. She will meet you at your house. Or, the meeting can take place at a neutral place in between our homes.
